Aries Full Moon, October 4 at 2:10am

When the Moon is full in Aries, the Sun is in the opposite sign of Libra. Aries is a cardinal sign, making it about instigating, activating and launching the new. Aries is a fire sign, with an emphasis on being animated, high-spirited, enthusiastic and eager to act.

Full Moon in Aries: fresh starts; courageous actions; risking confrontation to be authentic; forceful self-expression; the purifying fire of unsentimental truth; taking a stand; being at the edge of new experience; personal charisma.

This Full Moon illuminates: the catharsis of being true to yourself; the rewards of going beyond your comfort zone; the thrill of acting on impulse; the exciting heat of friction between strong personalities; your impetuous side.

It's a Good Time to: nurture hope in new beginnings; entertain big changes like career shifts; fake it 'til you make it; act on strong intuitive hunches; face a threat directly; allow buried passions to emerge and find expression; honor the messages that guide your unique destiny; act on true desires, not what you think you "should" do; take a bold step toward what you really, really want; do what makes you feel alive!

The Sabian Symbol are:

Aries 12: A Flock of Wild Geese:
This is a beautifully inspiring image of brotherhood and Aquarian ideals. Watching 'Geese' fly can inspire feelings of group cohesion and the beauty of natural rhythms. The 'Flock' shows the need to join with others in a journey or quest. Remember to take your cue from the 'Wild Geese' – when they fly in formation, they take turns in leading the way. Likewise, when one gets tired or sick, another takes the lead. Whilst this is a Symbol of working together with others, be wary of losing your sense of individuality. There may be a feeling of wanting to leave behind previous life constraints; to spread your wings and seek freedom from difficulties.

Libra 12: Miners Are Emerging From a Deep Coal Mine.

This is such a diametrically opposing Symbol from the Geese with their purity, whiteness and affinity for snow. The 'Miners' often have blackened or darkened faces and clothes; no slipstream for them, their domain is deep within, confined, often dangerous, going places that few dare to go. The Geese fly above in wonderful formation, acting as a community, although the Coal Miners do this as well - they have to support and look out for one another. They've been working hard, and now the siren has sounded and their shift is finished. Coming back to the surface, they can take a deep breath and feel themselves infused with fresh energy.

This particular full moon is especially energetic and will play in the houses where it falls in your personal chart but also in the area of relationships or the me/we axis. Do people need people or do people need to be independent?

This is a question to ask and perhaps answer under the full Moon. You may not answer the question forever but you might answer the question for now and in whatever case, this is a big debate and especially topical with Saturn into Libra.

As for the enhanced energy of the full moon, I am calling it that way because as the moon is full, Mercury simultaneously opposes Uranus. Whenever you have an opposition in astrology, relationships feature. Mercury rules communications but also neighbors and siblings so shocks and stand-offs as well as surprise reconciliations are possible.

These things affect the collective but people with personal planets caught up here are especially impacted. We are talking 8-14 degrees Cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) and/or 20-26 degrees mutable (Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, and Virgo).

Across which axis does the full Moon land in your chart?

The Fall Equinox is here!

The word ‘equinox’ is derived from the Latin word that means ‘equal’ and Libra is a sign that is interested in fairness and equality. It is time to compromise, and those who know how to conduct themselves with poise will be miles ahead of everybody else. Meet people halfway when possible and seek common ground rather than highlight your differences.

It’s the first day of Autumn, when day and night are equal, before the “fall” of the Sun this time of year. Get some pumpkins, a harvest time thing that brightens the kitchen table. Simple acts to celebrate the turning of the season can be comforting, since they’re symbols of the continuity of the solar year. Dark and light are balanced, and the Sun goes into the sign of the scales, Libra. We’re heading into a time of dire choice, and Libra’s clarity and instinct for harmony helps us see the way.

We can expect epic changes this fall. Some of this comes from the collective “awakening” to a world in extreme imbalance. The grand trine of Uranus-Mars-Moon in water signs, intensifies our feelings. It has the power to break us free from the collective trance, and what she calls, “mind control programs.” And that waking up is critical, given that so many leaders seem hopelessly hooked on the profits of disease and war, to the despair of most of humanity.

But there’s a chance for dramatic re-balancing here, as the Sun in Libra comes into a square to Pluto exact on Wednesday. With Pluto direct the demolition of what we’ve had accelerates. It’s a moment to reshape the very way society, government, our institutions operate. Out of the ruins of crumbling structures, we can choose the sane path with Libran values of justice, fairness, harmony. Libra is Venus-ruled, and soon the energy of the wise feminine will come into play. This gets some muscle when Saturn goes into Libra later this fall, where the great teacher is exalted, and able to make an impact. I’ve been encouraging a few women I know to run for office!

The equinox chart has other strong aspects that bring the feminine to the fore. “Venus in Virgo” is healing and grounded, and her trine to Pluto suggests that feminine guidance will play a major role this fall as the reeling colossus-America as empire-unravels and collapses. This trine will inspire many people to consider their true values, especially when they lose their homes and income, while the empire sends more troops off to unknown lands, as if they are the disposable elements of overpopulation. We’re heading into an “extreme time” when having peace and love in the heart is the only thing that will help us.

We can see clearly what we’re reaping and what we can sow for a better world. Libra is a cardinal air sign that makes its presence known, as a force striving for equilibrium. It’s a sign that reminds us that thoughts are powerful currents of energy, out of which our 3D world is shaped. What kind of world do we want to see reflected back to us? This fall we start to feel the power of the people as a whole to make real change.

“This fall is a time when we must see the truth above all else.”

Rosh Hashana and Astrology

"In the seventh month, on the first of the month (New Moon), shall be for you a day of rest, a remembrance of the sounding of the shofar.”–Leviticus 23:23-25.

If you are human, or consider yourself an offspring of Adam and Eve, then your mythological birthday is coming up on the New Moon, September 18th. Let me be the first to wish you — Happy Birthday! Make sure you buy yourself a gift; besides helping the economy it will make you feel better.

According to rabbinical lore, Adam and Eve, our primal parents, were created on Rosh Hashanah, which traditionally falls on the New Moon of the seventh month (see quote above). A closer look at the biblical text reveals that God did not only create Adam and Eve on the sixth day, but also gave birth to the concept of relationships. Friday, Veneris in Latin, named after Venus, is the day Adam and Eve were born. The fact we were created under the influence of a benevolent planet is a reassurance that we cannot be that bad after all.

Since the biblical and zodiac year begins in Aries, then Libra, the seventh sign is the month mentioned in Leviticus. Libra, ruled by Venus, is the sign of relationship, marriage and contracts. The fact that our common ancestors, Adam and Eve, were created on a New Moon in Libra is a great sign for all of our relationships. It means that embedded in our mythological “DNA” is the potential of having harmonious and balanced relationships. To this affect, at least according to Astrology and the Bible, we are innately good.
On Rosh Hashanah it is a custom to blow the Shofar, the ram’s horn. This ancient ritual is multi-layered and carries a great deal of symbolism. The Ram is associated with Aries, the sign that begins the biblical as well as Astrological New Year. On the zodiac wheel, Aries is located opposite Libra. Together they create the first set of opposing signs. You can say that Aries (ruled by Mars, the archetype of Adam) falls in love with Libra (ruled by Venus, the archetype of Eve) on Rosh Hashanah.
The symbolism of the New Moon of the Seventh Month goes even deeper considering the fact that Rosh Hashanah is celebrated precisely halfway through the zodiac. With six signs before and six signs after, Rosh Hashanah is a watershed of energies. According to astrology the year is divided into two main parts. The first half stretches from spring to the end of summer and is masculine and active, while the second half stretches from fall to the end of winter and is feminine and receptive. The borderline between these two halves is the Fall Equinox when the day and night, the masculine and feminine, are equal and balanced. That is the mythos-logic of having the Fall Equinox mark the beginning of the sign Libra, the sign of the scales.
This year the Equinox takes place on September 22, a few days past Rosh Hashanah. Astrology asserts that in the masculine extrovert part of the year, which is now coming to a close, humanity is busy acting, doing, building, sawing, reaping, working, collecting and creating. During the feminine introvert part of the year, we are focused more on assessing, reevaluating, deepening, editing, processing, dreaming, healing and assimilating everything we have done in the active part of the year.

The wise rabbis and biblical writers noticed these cyclical dynamics and established a 10 day period following Rosh Hashanah dedicated to atonement. The 10 days of contemplations leading to Yom Kippur are a kind of a transition between the active and reactive parts of the year. In Sanskrit this very process is called Karma, which means action and reaction. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, called the High Holy Days, are the Biblical version of Karma.
“Whatever a man sows so shall he also reap.”
Whatever actions you have taken from spring till this coming New Moon, now is the time to reflect, ask forgiveness, and take responsibility.

In Astrology, Saturn is the planet associated with Karma as well as the process of taking responsibility for past actions. Karma and Saturn define the process of Universal Justice. It is not surprising that the liturgy of the High Holy Days is loaded with prayers containing judicial terminology. The Orthodox Jews believe God has two books he reads and writes during the 10 days following Rosh Hashanah: the book of the living and the book of the dead. They believe that God reviews all of our actions and decides what is the appropriate reaction: death or life. If God writes your name in the book of the living, you shall live and prosper.
Here is a quote from the most powerful prayer of Rosh Hashanah called Unetanah Tokef:

On Rosh Hashanah it is inscribed,
And on Yom Kippur it is sealed.
How many shall pass away and how many shall be born,
Who shall live and who shall die,
Who shall reach the end of his days and who shall not,
Who shall perish by water and who by fire,
Who by sword and who by wild beast,
Who by famine and who by thirst,
Who by earthquake and who by plague…

In Astrology, a planet’s power changes depending on the sign it is located in. Since Karma and Saturn are associated with divine justice, according to astrology, when Saturn is in Libra it exerts the most amount of influence. In the next two years, as Saturn moves to Libra for the first time in 30 years, we can expect a great deal of “burning of bad Karma.” In other words, we will all experience the reactions of the actions we took in the last 30 years. That is another reason to blow the shofar. The sound of the ram’s horn is said to obliterate and ward off demons, who we now a days call by their more spiritually correct names: negative energies, shame, regret, jealousy and disease. In folklore, the armies of elves, wizards and angels awake and gather at the sound of the ram’s horn. Have a Happy Rosh Hashanah, and a Great New Moon and…start praying…

New Moon in Virgo, September 18th, 2009

Miracle Healing

Here’s a chance to surrender to a crucible of healing, and emerge at the New Moon with a sense of wholeness. The New Moon in Virgo, the sign that examines the pieces, and comes up with strategies that fix what’s broken, heal the wounds and work off bad karma. Along with the two luminaries (Sun and Moon), Saturn and Mercury Rx are also in Virgo. These planets anchor us in the awareness of the physical, the reality of our daily lives. We can see what’s really going on, and visions at this psychic time show us how to ‘earth’ those visions.

Time to Rest

I love the dark of the Moon, when we’re pulled into the Great Mystery and can rest there. It’s a time to meet the void and allow it to work its magic on us. It can awaken us to new possibilities with messages, dreams, a sense of renewal. Virgo has an earthbound quality, as a sign that is about refining what is. Saturn’s presence in Virgo adds even more sobriety to the moment, and the stark reality might be hard to accept. But the New Moon allows us a chance to take responsibility, to live in the “real world,” no matter how tempting it is to stay in denial.

Grand Awakening

The bleak outlook (or just very challenging) is contrasted to Uranus’ sparking of a grand awakening in the heart of everyone. It’s waking us up to shared wonder. It’s cracking open our hearts, so they can be the guide from now on. This New Moon sees us planting the seeds of reconciling “what is” with the wonder of what could be.
The planets in Virgo are also square to Pluto in Capricorn. That’s why this is a crucible of healing that gets to the heart of what’s making us sick. We can more easily see cause and effect, and note what role our institutions (government, health care, agriculture, pharmaceutical) play in that dis-ease. We get past the surface aches to the core problems, some of which may have to do with how society itself is structured.

Moody Mars

Mars is in Cancer and this causes us to be motivated by what we’re feeling. This amplifies the outbursts that come with the heart shocks of Uranus. We may overreact, get defensive, act on imagined fears or retreat in wounded silence. The vital energy of our emotions takes us to the heart truth of situations. It may cause energy fluctuations, but it’s cardinal energy that is able to initiate from the foundation of that heart truth. It’s an ally in a month of healing and integration.

Venus in Leo/Opposite Neptune Aquarius

We’re warmed up with Venus in Leo, with an infusion to the heart. The desire to create and share our story is set against an awareness of the web of humanity. It inspires us to share our particular talents, in service to the whole. This New Moon is a great time to recommit to your creativity, with a promise of daily actions that help you hone your craft.

The Essential You

The bottom line is that this New Moon is a portal to integrating your many parts. It’s not easy, and you might walk through some pockets of physical-emotional-psychic pain on the way to healing. Gather up the tools that help you stay strong and focused. Make sure you have time to unwind, so you can benefit from the richest solitude of the year. Love your body, with all its imperfections. Resolve to evolve, both in the slow Saturnian kind and the Uranian leaps of faith way.

This New Moon asks us to see what we’ve got, right here and right now. And to drop whatever we’re carrying that is hurting us. It’s a pathway that requires us to discern which pieces we should leave by the wayside, and which are essential parts of who we are. But we are never alone, and can ask for spirit to show us the difference.

There’s an aspect of surrender both to Virgo, and to New Moons. That makes this a special time to release and rest your weary bones in the lunar darkness, and emerge brand new on the other side. It’s a kind of “last chance” Moon, before we’re swept up in the cardinality coming our way through 2010. This is our time to prepare, before being swept up in cosmic events greater than ourselves. You may sense it’s coming. So let this New Moon work its mutable magic, so the pieces fall into their right place.

When the Moon is new in Virgo the Sun is also in Virgo.
The New Moon is a time of beginnings. You can set intentions that grow with the lunar light and reach fruition at the Full Moon.

New Moon in Virgo themes:

wisdom of the body
purification
natural solutions
enjoying the process
putting things in order
the simple life
true essentials
finishing what you’ve started
practical wisdom
picking apart to discover what’s wrong
intricate systems and patterns
handling the details
finding beauty in the particular.

It’s a Good Time to: SIMPLIFY!; take a ritual bath; consult an alternative healer; give or receive massage, reiki, energy work; do a seasonal cleaning; purge the stale, rotten or useless from your closet, fridge, computer; work with your hands; put finishing touches on your masterpiece; edit that article, novel or play; buy some new stationery and pens; take a yoga class; go for a long walk alone.

The New Moon in this competent sign triggers the ongoing opposition of restrictive Saturn and innovative Uranus that has been rocking the world since last fall. This might intensify personal and political polarization, but it gives us a chance to recognize destructive habits, understand how they limit us and change them. The Sun and Moon’s union in fastidious Virgo could trap us in narrow prejudices when flexibility and open-mindedness are needed to reduce tension.

Have you felt the tension and the pressure? Many are saying they have felt pushed and rather drained from their responsibilities and the energy has been pretty full on. There’s so much to say about this new Moon that it’s a bit hard to know where to start…

This new Moon is a doozy - exactly conjunct Saturn and opposing Uranus = it is a new Moon largely defined by and constrained by the current Saturn Uranus opposition. The new Moon occurs on September 18.

The Sabian Symbol is Virgo 26:

A Boy With a Censer Serves Near the Priest at the Altar. The ‘Boy’ doesn’t have the experience or social position of the ‘Priest’, but that shouldn’t put him off his duties or what needs to be done. His position and responsibilities are still important. In a Catholic church service, wine is drunk as a symbol of the blood of Christ. Wafers are placed on the tongues of the believers as the representation of the body of Christ. How the ‘Boy’ reacts to the ritual or ceremony will depend on his upbringing, beliefs or temperament. He could be rapt with fascination at what is being played out or he could be indifferent, bored and really preferring to go home. It is unclear whether the ‘Boy’ wants to eventually take the position of the older ‘Priest’, or colleague, or not. He may grow up to do other things, but right now he’s got his position or duty to fulfill. This may be less than he’s actually able to do or is truly “qualified” to do.

This Symbol brings up feelings of being second best, playing second fiddle; feeling like one has no authority. Of course, one can be ‘The Priest’ – you don’t have to be ‘The Boy with the Censer’, however it is very likely that issues of having a position will come up. Are you fulfilling your duties, your karma, your desires, so completely that you will be able to take your position as the authority in your life? Are you living your life with people that talk down to you, abuse you, don’t give you credit, don’t listen, don’t care and are only there to fulfill their own feelings of aggrandizement and glory? It could be time to stake your claim to those things that will reward you.

I would be remiss if I didn’t bring up the Symbol of Virgo 27 as the new Moon falls right on 25Virgo59 = the very last minute of Virgo 26.

The Sabian Symbol for Virgo 27:

Aristocratic Elderly Ladies Drinking Afternoon Tea in a Wealthy Home. This definitely has the spirit of feeling ‘at home’, feeling amongst your peers, taking time out, being able to relax, handing responsibilities on to others. So, this is a fine mix of having to do and finding time to just relax and catch up with others. The pic to the left is my interpretation of this degree (love it!).

The Saturn Uranus opposition is asking for big changes, big let goes and for us to take charge of a sense of personal authority that can (and will) move us into new life, new possibilities, new realities. We must accept the rewards that personal authority can bring, of course, and we may have to stand up and be firm about it.

This is made more manifest by Pluto’s placement at Capricorn 1:
An Indian Chief Claims Power and Recognition From the Assembled Tribe. This clearly speaks about claiming power and recognition from those around you. Still, we often find that others are doing this at our expense. How to rectify this? Check out the parameters of your own influence, your own sphere and stick to those with a sense of authority, grace and strength. Your ‘Assembled Tribe’ can be the disparate parts of yourself that can contain differing messages; your career self may feel very much in charge while your relationship self is floundering (or vice versa). You may be quite strong when it comes to issues to do with your family and those close to you, but like a fish out of water in social situations (or vice versa). This placement of Pluto asks that we line up the various parts of our personalities and get them to work in concert. This is an empowering placement for Pluto, but we sometimes have to face what we fear before the rewards come flooding in.

Mercury is retrograding back into Virgo now.
The Sabian Symbol for Mercury on this new Moon is Virgo 30:

Having an Urgent Task to Complete, A Man Doesn’t Look to Any Distractions. We all feel ‘distracted’ from time to time, this is quite normal. Distracted is an interesting word; going off the tracks, going off the rails, not being on target. We need one pointedness of application with Mercury here, staying true to yourself and remaining on the path or on the job. Mercury asks that we don’t look to things that derail us. There’s a reward here as well – Mercury will very soon head back to

Virgo 29: A Man Is Gaining Secret Knowledge. From an Ancient Scroll He Is Reading.

This is a wonderful degree, particularly for Mercury to be going over. During the coming week, Mercury will retrograde over the degrees that Saturn is currently highlighting:

Virgo 25: A Flag at Half-Mast in Front of a Public Building
Virgo 26: A Boy With a Censer Serves Near the Priest at the Altar.

It’s certainly time to be letting go – big time! Along with letting go is the acceptance of personal authority.

All of the above can relate to your relationships, of course, and the issue of relationships comes up pretty quickly with Venus on Leo 29: A Mermaid Has Climbed to the Rocky Shore of a Bleak Coast; She Awaits the Prince Who Will Bring Her Immortality.

This speaks of coming into conscious form, new ways of being, transformation, looking for love and a relationship that confirms rather than denies your sense of integrity. This is particularly interesting because in this last week Saturn has been on Virgo 24: Mary and Her White Lamb.

This speaks of dependence and co dependence and asks you to examine the spaces you have between you and others, particularly significant others and close friendships. Allowing that space for everyone to be more authentically who they are meant to be can bring wonderful rewards and realizations.

Pluto Direct at 1* Capricorn

Pluto, God of the Underworld, is the ruler of Scorpio. (In Greek mythology, the corresponding god was Hades). In Astrology, the energies of Pluto are transforming. Pluto represents subconscious forces, ruling all that is “below the surface”.

On the up side, Pluto is associated with renewal and rebirth. It represents endings and new beginnings, as well as spiritual growth and rebirth. Negative expression of Pluto is an obsessive desire for power and control and general destructiveness.

Pluto rules power and mis-use of power. Pluto is also the energy, the motives, the integrity of the purpose of using Pluto’s power. Pluto is also the issues of the motives that are hidden within the person wielding power. Words can easily be used as a front, but it is Pluto’s energy and motives that point to the real purpose, the real goals for utilizing energy. These deep motives, even if they are unseen, will at certain times explode similar to the volcanic explosion that reveals the elements deep within.

Pluto often brings us situations that contain issues of power, in which we fear power greater than ourselves and thus we have to rise to the occasion to make the inner power greater than the outer powers. An example of this is the fear of outer authority and we must respond to situations in which outer authority comes into our life and our inner confidence or inner strength has to be stronger than the outer situations. This response to situations becomes the trial by fire methods in which Pluto works.

This outer authority, outer power can be a positive source of competition or a person in a position of power who is misusing their position to wield their power in inappropriate ways to cause harm to others. The purpose for this outer power and the motives for this outer power becomes the Pluto issue. The motives, ethics, integrity and values that come with the use or mis-use of power are hidden from view, however they are known by the person and ultimately become visible as the intention is continued over time, setting a precedence that speaks of it’s own accord.

Pluto has been in retrograde for 5 months, but is now direct, and this is likely to accelerate the crashes of what needs to die. On Pluto’s radar is the demolition of what’s structurally unsound. And since it’s in Capricorn, the days of reckoning are here for the economic system. Are you getting signs that you’re a dead man walking at your job? Perhaps you’re in retail and see that nobody is spending money in the shop. By facing that harsh reality, and letting go of a fixed view of what is, you can start to look around for other work.

With Pluto, there’s a force greater than ourselves at work. It plays a villain in the psyche because it exposes our desperate need to hold on to life as we know it.

My intuitive sense is that there’s a hard fall coming for those that live disconnected from Earth and earthly realities. Pluto roots out the essence of Capricorn, and what will be left standing is what has substance, is in harmony with Earth processes, and is enduring. Pluto going direct will accelerate the collapse process that’s mercifully exposing institutional corruption of our societal structures.

Out of Pluto’s ashes, there will be an “emergence” of the new, and no man or woman is above the Law of Pluto. It levels the playing field, as hidden truths and rotten-to-the-core institutions come under scrutiny. The very powerful may desperately try to avoid disclosure, but Pluto’s specialty is confronting those that think they can “play God.” In this case, it’s playing God with the Earth’s resources, with an ends justifies the means mentality. We can take comfort that Pluto’s changes come from its probing to the depths, and there’s nowhere for mortals to hide. And in this time of “emergency,” we each have the power to shape what’s emerging from within ourselves and the structures in society.

Pluto in Capricorn- According to the house placement in your Natal Chart

To understand the effect of Pluto in Capricorn according to the house placement of your natal chart, will point to the issues that become your primary focus when Pluto moves into Capricorn (January 25, 2008 at 7:44 pm PST) , look to where late Sagittarius and early Capricorn are in your Natal Chart. This will be the area in which you will find a great deal of activity and explosion of opportunities that move you into 2009

Pluto impacting your 1st House; You will be asked to step into the volatile world of power, business and will have to challenge the authority figures around you. With Pluto impacting your 1st house at this time you will be given a position of power as the Jupiter/Pluto explosion occurs in December and by January 25th, 2008 you will have walked into the world of business, power, and authority. You will be placed in a position to challenge the previous authority and ethics as you are a power in the revolutionary changes that are slated to occur during this transition o Pluto moving from Sagittarius into Capricorn. The 1st house rules leadership and with the explosion of Pluto opening the doors to your leadership ability, you will be faced with Pluto’s powerful process of requiring that you walk through the trial by fire pathway of Sagittarius since 1995 in order to be prepared for the positions of power that Pluto has in store for you. You will have moved up through the ranks of the intensity of the inferno to show your capability of handling the true authority and power that will be given to you as Pluto moves into Capricorn. Your image will go through a complete makeover and you will have to stand up in your true leadership potential, whether you want to or not. Within the challenges of this Pluto event, you will be faces with Pluto’s call to power!

Pluto impacting your 2nd House: You will adjust your focus from your philosophy to revising your material security, whether it is money or investments. Pluto brings a great intensity to the situations and requires all that is false be taken away and build out of the ashes a stronger value system. Capricorn is your career and business pursuits, so you may be asked to put your money on the table in order to build the business that you truly want to build. This requires that you “bet it all” in a sense. For some this may be their “retirement” or their “life savings” or any other way that you feel that you are betting it all. Pluto brings a sense of accomplishment into the equation and will push you to make these important choices as the Jupiter/Pluto explosion takes place and you begin to see the writing of your destiny on the wall. Ultimately Pluto brings forward the energy of passion and purpose during the transition and you find the type of business you want to build because you believe in it. This is shifting away from the monetary aspects and going deeper into the equation of the value system and what money can do when intertwined with passion and a sense of purpose. Pluto in Sagittarius required that you strengthen yourself and have your self and your direction become stronger than the world around you. Not an easy task. Now it is to take that self that is galvanized with strength, to make choices that put you onto a career path that will expand your connections into a new business arena, one that you may not have thought in a million years you belong in, but you will find that everything that ha occurred up til now has all been to prepare you for your new position of passion.

Pluto impacting your 3rd House: You will move into this time of Pluto in Capricorn by bringing forward information that you have to speak or to write and to bring the Truth forward in ways that may not be the most popular amidst a society that still thinks the world is flat. The Jupiter/Pluto explosion cracks open the world of Truth that has landed in your lap. You are here to bring this information forward and you are moving into a time when you have your calling come into reality. You may have passed the point of retirement or you may just be graduating from college, either way, the impetus to bring information forward has now reached your venue. No longer will the false information and lies exist, you have lived through the experience as Pluto has finished it’s time in Sagittarius in which the choices of Money or Truth showed the realities of the choices. You are moving into a time in which your business and your career will be a direct response of the situations and events that you have experienced. You are moving into a time in which you will speak up, you will say what needs to be said and your communication will echo through the halls of the old structures that chose money rather than truth. You are here to say what no one else will say, but you can’t turn your back on the information that you now have sitting in your lap. The handwriting of destiny on the wall pushes you to grab your passion, your voice and speak up. The energy comes from deep in your being, you know that you are walking into your purpose, this is what you have come here to do. Regardless of the age or generation you come from, your message encompasses a universal message of Truth, one that crosses over the generations and becomes the Truth that is vital to everyone.

Pluto impacting your 4th House: You will move into this time of Pluto in Capricorn as you revise your foundation of the basics of all that is important. You have had to walk your spiritual path and spiritual journey and have felt that you are walking off a cliff. You are headed in the right directions as you have just left an arena of old concepts and have had to journey to the new world of new understanding. With the shift from Pluto in Sagittarius to Pluto in Capricorn, you have had to divorce yourself from the past and old concepts that restricted you and kept you from being yourself. Now with Pluto moving into Capricorn, you may be left with nothing but yourself and your God, but you can now begin to build again. With the explosion of Jupiter/Pluto you reached the limit of the past situations dictating you and your world. You could no longer live within the situations of old concepts, you have had to break free from the past, even if you had to leave everything behind. Your choices have to be true to your true beliefs. Similar to taking a stand against slavery and run for your life, you have to grab what you have; your Self and your God and start building your life again. Jupiter moving into Capricorn mid December helps to provide the impetus especially after the explosion of Jupiter and Pluto in Sagittarius that signaled the last straw to situations. It is time to take the only important things in your life and leave the old, the false, and the slavery to the past.

Pluto impacting your 5th House: You will experience the transition of Pluto moving out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn as bringing the basic foundation of your true beliefs into a new world with creativity, options and opportunities. The Jupiter/Pluto explosion opened up your home environment representing your basic emotional beliefs and connection with your self. You are now ready to walk into the world of options and opportunity and to open the gates of the past to find the Sun dawning on a new life. Your passion has increased and yet the dark times of living your philosophy seemed to be very dark and made you feel as if you were all alone. Opportunities will emerge in ways that you had not dreamed of and your creative nature is ready to move forward. The adjustments that you make as Jupiter moves into Capricorn mid December give you a sense of hope that you may be afraid to trust or to feel optimistic about. But as situations evolve as Pluto moves into Capricorn and the Mercury retrograde hits a time of adjustment, you will begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You are moving into new times, yet with the trial-by-fire scenarios that you have experienced, you may not think that a new dawn will come. Yet as situations change, you will move into a whole new arena. Your creativity and your self-expression becomes a key factor and your faith and trust in the foundation of your philosophy becomes the key to unlocking your creative qualities that will seek to find creative endeavors. The expression of love and listening to that inner spark will take you into new avenues, ones that will provide the appropriate avenue to new career and business pursuits.

Your career and business pursuits are taking a new turn changing the old concepts into new concepts. Your recent discoveries are breaking into the old concepts and you are positioning yourself to move into new directions. The Jupiter/Pluto explosion has given you the opportunity to capitalize on your creative ventures of late in which you have worked and believed in your projects. Whether your old environment is capable of housing these discoveries or you have to launch into new environments, you are ready to emerge with your projects ready to put them into form. Whether your discoveries were regarding medical breakthroughs or health concepts that blend old and new philosophies together, you will find that Jupiter moving into Capricorn will provide the stepping stones that take you into your new areas. Pluto impacting the 7th House: You will find that as Pluto moves into your 7th house you are moving out of the old structures of being who and what others wanted and move you out of the old corral and into a much larger world of people. You may have been inundated with responsibilities and have been kept from experiencing the social arenas that you have desired. You have had to take your philosophy of responsibility and duty and had to deal with situations with that philosophy. You are ready to emerge out of the system of responsibility to have a much greater arena to be involved with. You have wanted to be more social and now your career and business pursuits provide that shift. This sets well with your natural talents and abilities and you feel very positive about this transition. You are ready to expand your social interactions and have reached a time when you are out of the old focus toward responsibility and reaching a greater world with greater impact and greater social accessibility. You are finally emerging out of the past and into your natural calling. Your new career and business pursuits are part of the exciting transition as Jupiter moves into Capricorn mid December. As Pluto moves into Capricorn and you experience the Mercury retrograde of humanitarian-oriented Aquarius, your social connections explode open a whole new group of people with a whole new focus. This connects you with the arena that has more social impact and has more opportunities. You are ready to move your passion into this new arena and you are ready to move into these new career paths.

Pluto impacting your 8th House: You will find that as Pluto moves into your 8th house you are ready to come to terms with the chance to invest in yourself. You have been helping and assisting others for so long and now comes the time to make decisions that surround your true self and your true calling. You are ready to make decisions about your desires, your true wants and to shift the focus from others to the focus that is about your inner sense of Self. The Jupiter/Pluto explosion has pushed you past the point of providing help and assistance to others, as at a time you can lead a horse to the water but you can’t make them drink. You have reached this point that others have to be on their own. You have put your philosophy forward and whether it was taken or not, you are ready to let it go. This becomes important as the true of philosophy is for the person to walk the path. Your past efforts have been stellar and the walk that you have taken to assist others has been the trial-by-fire pathway. You can no longer be of the best service to others and it is time to come face to face with your own path. You inner depth is calling to you and you want to have the time to answer and you are ready to make this shift. You feel this new inner voice calling to you and you want to answer. You are ready to answer the call to discover more and you will pull away from people who only want you to do everything for them. You want to do more for yourself. This becomes an important transition as it is time for you to invest in yourself. Once Jupiter moves into Capricorn mid December, you will ee the handwriting on the wall that it is time for you to move into your own direction, one that has been calling you for a while. It is important that you expand your inner concepts and deepen your vision. You are ready to move into a new and deeper connection with yourself and to accomplish the greatest task of self awareness and self realization. It is time for you to listen to a greater and higher sense of Self.

Pluto impacting your 9th House: You will find that as Pluto moves into your 9th house you are ready to come out of the inner depth of self with the opportunity to expand this greater self into a larger world with goals and aspirations that provide you with new career and business pursuits. Your philosophy and understanding has gained a lot of strength and awareness and now you are being called to integrate that philosophy into a new direction. You will set new goals for yourself and you will expand in new career directions. Situations that you have experienced within your deep connections with your Self have allowed you to grow in your commitment and your convictions and beliefs. Now you will move into a new environment integrating these new beliefs into the outside world with new goals, aspirations and business pursuits. You will find that the change is lighter and allows more light of hope and optimism into your life as well. As the Jupiter/Pluto explosion opens the door to this shift, you will find that by mid December Jupiter moving into Capricorn opens up many new opportunities to move your career and business pursuits into new directions. You are ready to expand your communications, teaching and learning of new aspects of your career. You will see that many of the old pressures are off and you have made the transition from being in a darkened place to emerge into the light. This provides you the chance to expand more of your true beliefs into the outside world through self-expression, communication and teaching. You may be learning a new trade, learning through new studies, but the fact that you are lining up new goals, gives you a new lease on life.

Pluto impacting your 10th House: You will find that as Pluto moves into your 10th house you are ready to come into your true and rightful career. While Pluto was in Sagittarius, you had to walk through the trial-by-fire situations about your beliefs and put your beliefs on the line. This may have felt like you continued to get burned and continued to reach dead ends, especially as you followed the carrot of what you felt was right. The journey has left you exhausted, however, the journey had a much greater purpose than was seen, it provided the environment to show whether you were going to stop at the first sight of reward or at the first hill of challenge. You had to gain a much greater connection with your philosophy as it was incorporated with the outside world, to keep with your philosophy regardless of the results in the outside world. The journey that you have taken has now placed you to the highest level achieved and will now move you into your rightful career and business path. The Jupiter/Pluto explosion opens the door to walk out of the arena of the past and move into the arena that has you follow your philosophy and true calling. As Jupiter moves into Capricorn mid December, you begin to see your career and business emerge and reveal that the choices that you have made are now taking you into the direction that you have chosen through your actions and deeds. Once Pluto moves into Capricorn, you will see yourself on the doorstep of the world that you have chosen as your actions and deeds have created the stepping stones that you now find yourself walking. Opening up the new territory of your career and new avenues for your business pursuits, you are veering into new and different directions, one that puts your into your rightful place.

Pluto impacting your 11th House: You find that as Pluto moves into your 11th house, you are drawn into making new decisions about your career that have to do with the greater humanitarian picture and the desire to change your focus. You are involved with humanitarian pursuits and the larger plight of mankind has spurred you forward all through the old business arena, but now pushes you into a new and different direction. This new direction provides a major opportunity as the Jupiter/Pluto explosion has you jump from one ship to another. The new ship is calling for someone of your talents to become the spokes person about the larger picture, about the real need for people and the plight of mankind is deafening. You make important choices to jump to a new ship, one that has a purpose and a passion that encompasses a greater good and one that has all of your passion engaged. You are ready for the shifts that are happening as Jupiter moving into Capricorn mid December provides you with the offer of a lifetime in which you can’t refuse it or the calling of your heart. You make the change and make the jump because your heart and soul realize the need of the greater good to have a voice and a perspective that needs to be heard. As Pluto shifts into Capricorn in January and the mercury retrograde occurs in humanitarian sign of Aquarius, you realize that this shift is putting you right into the positions that you have dreamed of and now they are a reality. This is your time, the call is deafening as is the plight of humanity. You are ready, this is your time.

Pluto impacting your 12th House: You find that as Pluto moves into your 12th house you are moving into a very important time, one that has destiny written all over it. Pluto provides the point of power and whether it has been used for the best or not becomes the opportunity for you to connect with it. As the Jupiter/Pluto connection sparks the explosion of outer situations, you are ready to move into a new world within yourself, to come into a time of understanding the importance of the inner world. This inner world sees all, all across time, all across people and connects you with the true inner environments that are within us all. You are coming to understand the importance of these inner worlds and the opportunity to move this understanding into the outside world as it pertains to your career and new business pursuits. The power of the inner world is incredible and is yet so often not understood. In your way you will be moving into the right career directions in which you’ll have the chance to expand your ability for others to understand the importance of this inner arena. With your insight and intuition, you can come into the business world to shine a new light onto this important environment. Once Jupiter moves into Capricorn in mid December, you will walk into a new career focus and be ready to integrate the importance of this inner world into your new career. Pluto moving into Capricorn empowers this process as you will naturally have an impact in the humanitarian world of others. The natural shift of Pluto into Capricorn means that the Aquarius focus of humanity is now in view, where it was not even in the ball game before. The Mercury retrograde in Aquarius gives you the chance to see the importance of your shifts and how they will impact the larger scope of others.

Full Moon in Pisces

Friday, September 4, 9:03 am PDT, 12:03 pm EDT
The Full Moon is in Pisces, the sign of dissolving into the All. We may feel "someplace else" as we float through the day. It's the most otherworldly Full Moon, when what's illuminated is the spiritual Self and its true destiny. And there's a chance to see how that path can be in service of a greater cause. Pisces kindles a sense of spiritual devotion, compassion and what's called "unity consciousness" -- a sense that all life is interdependent.
This intensifies spiritual longings and gives us super psychic powers for these nights. Dreams may seem oh so real, giving us a suspicion that we live in many dimensions. The emotional intensity of this Full Moon takes us to states of ecstasy
Pisces is boundary less and boundless, and this can be disturbing. We pick up on every harsh or chaotic vibe. It's a good idea to avoid crowds, since the mood of the moment can be like a great wavy undertow. People may freak out, so if you're sensitive like me, you'll seek out a sheltered spot this Full Moon.
This supersensitive Moon drops us into the exquisite nuance of every human emotion. Feelings, the imagination and spirit longing are all at their fullest potency. It's a time to let go of who you think you are, so you can experience Oneness with everything.
The dreamy Pisces Full Moon opposes the Sun in pragmatic Virgo, contrasting idealism and realism. It's not wise to escape into a fantasyland or to deny the yearnings of the soul. But we needn't choose between them. It is, rather, a time to overcome the illusion of separation and recognize the steps it takes to bring them together. Mars in cautious Cancer forms a supportive trine to the Full Moon that encourages us to trust the intelligence of our feelings to guide us toward our goals.
But this Full Moon is in shifting Pisces, and ruler Neptune, and Pisces' old ruler Jupiter, are both inconjunct stable Saturn. Holding on is not a direct line. What are we avoiding? Evading? What you think is "small stuff" is a big clue. Goals can seem unrealistic, and you can realize that achieving creative goals, for instance a painting career, is simply doing one thing after another, taking care of every detail. You just may be amazed at the amount of clerical work and attention to detail and health it really takes to make your dreams come true. Yet, being responsible can also help you to work past any self-doubts about perfection and ability.
Pisces is a mutable sign, making it about dissolving, shuffling pieces, new combinations. Pisces is a water sign, with an emphasis on the imagination, unity through the heart, spiritual longing, transcendence, mystical visions.
Full Moon in Pisces: sharing intimacy with all of humanity, seeing beyond the surface of things, symbolic language and imagery, fantasy and escape, addiction, lost souls, the vast unknown, loss of Self, sacrifice or devotion, unconditional love.
So we've got the Full Moon in Pisces in opposition to the
Sun in Virgo. This polarity is the play of devotion, service, self-sacrifice. The questions come up about what you're bound in service to, and whether it fits with your life calling. Pisces straddles two worlds -- the tangible physical and the unseen metaphysical. The volume is turned up on the hearts longing, and desires to break free of limitations, to fulfill your mission! It's easier to see how labels, roles, mask are pasted on loosely, and not as fixed as we thought. That makes it a time for revelation, of the truth of the soul and its needs. And it can be a time of letting go of flimsy habits or quirks of personality.

Practical Magic: The Sun in Virgo weighs the messages coming through against the realities of the day. There's strong tension between the urge to break free, and the day-to-day limitations, burdens, responsibilities. This is heightened by the Saturn (in Virgo) opposition to Uranus (in Pisces). The emphasis this Full Moon is between the same ole vs. the innovative, duty vs. freedom, authority figures vs. rebels, the spiritual vs. the material.
And yet, these two energies -- Pisces and Virgo -- are natural allies when held in balance. As we experience shocks to the heart with Uranus in Pisces, through collective crisis, the grounded earthy smarts of Virgo helps us put back the pieces. The busting open of all this emotion can be faced with Virgoan simplicity and ability to heal. What's unleashed can be purified, transmuted, and refined as we scramble for a new sense of wholeness.
Mastery of Our Daily Lives: As we lose it completely, the practicality of Virgo gives us the wherewithal to keep trying by tending to the details. What can you do today that will enhance your sense of well being? Drink more water? Smell some tea tree oil? It's time for disciplined action for health, seriously, that is Saturn's message being driven home in Virgo.
There is no way to coast through this time of crisis with compromised health. It leaves us confused, scattered, exhausted. Take one action this Full Moon that is a big Yes! to your spiritual-emotional-physical wellness, and you'll send a powerful sign to the universe. You're ready to mutate into your best Self!
Truth and Consequences: Another theme this Full Moon is discernment in a time of deception. The Saturn-Uranus opposition actually helps us look at what's happening logically, as an antidote to the mass hysteria. This gets amped up with Mercury in Libra square to Pluto, as we are challenged to really see below the surface of "reality." Is there an agenda behind what is presented as the collective narrative (in news, from politicians)? Is there a whole other story under the surface?
Pluto invites probing detective work, so that the fullest version of reality is uncovered. There is danger implied here, because it is a grave lack of trust in what those in authority have to say (
Pluto in Capricorn). The square to Mercury sets the stage for "propaganda" by official figures, all in the pursuit of a hidden agenda. Each of us may have to make life/death decisions based on our relationship (trust) to entities in control. It's painful to wake up to certain realities, but ultimately it could lead to a purging of what's become institutionalized violence and corruption. You have a choice....you can say No to what's dangerous and yes to life!
The Dark Side Makes Us Grow: There are going to be stressful times this month, with many squares and oppositions causing great growing pains. This Full Moon in "devoted" mutable signs is a chance to surrender to a higher power, to open to being re-arranged. It's time to master your own energies, starting with your personal boundaries. And to know what terrors and fears you've got to face. We become less vulnerable to manipulation by others when we've faced our own demons and addictions. These two private signs invite us to retreat into rich solitude, to quiet the mind-body-spirit, and take steps to healing.
The Full Moon is high energy, and this is a chance to realign yourself with the purest intention. What is your gift to bring to the world? Perhaps it's as an artist, or a builder of homes, or as a teacher. As you free up energies entangled in the past, karma, addictions, bad habits, you have more to give to your real life dream. You can put your whole Self into what you're doing. You are set free from prisons self-created or from social conditioning. You are free to hear a higher call, and make progress (small steps count!) on your path to becoming.
Shocking Times: We are all dealing with upheaval and loss of what we've known. It's a vulnerable moment for humanity, when the collapse brings opportunities and dangers. This Full Moon we can start ourselves first, and take a look at where we are. All we can do sometimes is put one foot in front of the other. Reach out to spirit to be held and comforted under this powerful Full Moon. And ask for dreams of guidance for that next right step.
This
Full Moon illuminates: the depth of meaning in relationships and events; the wider mystery of why we're here; how we're merged as humans; the power of the collective heart impulse; divinely inspired creative ideas, chances to be a comfort in a dark time; vivid dreams of other realms and lives.
It's a Good Time to: make dinner for a friend with the blues; start volunteering with children, animals, the elderly and vulnerable; get lost in your own imagination!; keep the schedule clear for daydreaming; take a long healing soak or swim in the ocean; spend time past the monkey mind (in meditation or a walk in nature); go to the theatre or the cinema; see yourself as an infinite being; speak from the heart; let yourself feel deeply; be with those you love.

September Forecast

This are the significant movements of the planets this month.

During the first week of September we begin to enter the "shadow" of the Mercury retrograde period as Mercury slows down in preparation of its retrograde turn. During the shadow period we may begin to experience some of the communication challenges for which Mercury Rx is known so it's not too early to begin applying caution to all matters of communication and travel. Small equipment can also be affected by Mercury retrograde periods so be sure to read instructions carefully.

Retrograde in Libra -- the third time Mercury does its backward dance this year. Now, Mercury retrogrades in relationship-oriented Libra, making this a perfect time to review your recent agreements and conversations. All of the usual Mercury retrograde cautions hold true, so don’t react to any news you receive until you have double-checked the facts. Mercury will be retrograde until September 29.

The actual retrograde turn of Mercury occurs just after midnight on September 7th. A Ceres aspect on September 7 make this also a wonderful day to take some time to connect with the Earth: Sit peacefully in a grove of trees and feel the majesty of the Earth beneath you. Dig in the dirt or plant a flower. Prepare a delicious meal for yourself and those you love.

When Mercury is retrograde we sometimes must sign contracts and make other commitments and agreements that are not ideal under these circumstances. DO NOT FEAR!! Just take the necessary precautions and move forward in your life with confidence. If you plan a vacation and it rains, you don't cancel your vacation. Just bring an umbrella.

Remember also that Mercury retrograde periods are excellent times for
meditation, writing, renovating, re-doing your website, re-writing a manuscript, communicating with old friends, cleaning out the garage.

The effect of the Mercury Rx period is likely to begin on September 3rd. Tempers are high now, and words can become reckless. Mercury is in Libra now where it tends to be rather polite and harmonious, but the square to Mars will take the gloves off and could result in some heated discussion.

This leads nicely into the Full Moon in Pisces on September 4 in which our conscious focus on the mundane details of life is overcome by an instinctive desire of the Pisces Moon for a more soulful experience. This is a time of culmination of our dreams and ideals so that we can harvest the seeds that we have sown. We are entering a time to look back and reassess the details of our life, but the Pisces Full Moon urges us to seek solace in the never-ending flow of the soul that forms the true center of our being.

Next, powerful Pluto turns direct in ambitious Capricorn on September 11, so watch as your goals advance! Then, on September 12, boundary-maker Saturn forms a quincunx aspect to Neptune, a planet whose energy dissolves boundaries, so you'll need to make adjustments in your overall life-plan.

Saturn opposes Uranus on September 15, reminding you to build flexibility into your goals. Then, the Sun shines a big spotlight on this opposition with a conjunction to Saturn and an opposition to Uranus on September 17. Mindful Mercury's entrance into Virgo on September 17 helps you get a plan together. Then the new Moon in Virgo on September 18 brings a fresh beginning, and by September 20 -- when Venus enters Virgo -- your immersion in all things Virgo enters your relationship life.

You may feel pulled in two different directions when retrograde Mercury in practical Virgo connects with the ongoing Saturn-Uranus opposition. Add to this a conjunction to rule-maker Saturn on September 22, and an opposition to independent Uranus on September 23. In between all of this, the Fall Equinox occurs on September 22 with the
Sun’s entrance into peaceful Libra.

We end the month with Mercury turning direct in Virgo on September 29, and once again it's full speed ahead to move forward with your plans.
