Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.

September Planetary Forecast

When the Sun moves into Virgo on August 23rd, it is accompanied by a union with Venus, the planet representing our value systems, the arts, love and money. While the Sun and Venus travel in tandem (until August 29th), there's hope for reaching out and connecting with others whose values harmonize with your own. This is further echoed by the Virgo New Moon on August 28th (11:04 PM EDT).

However there's a change, with aggressive Mars blocked by Saturn from August 23rd -26th, suggesting yet another battle for power, with the Old Guard stubbornly holding its ground in the face of confrontation. It's also a frustrating time for the established order, since these qualities in friction with one another signify a time of potential destruction of longstanding traditions. During this period you can feel stuck, especially if situations you once counted on to provide a foundation seem to be folding under pressure.
