In October, the atmosphere will be filled with a fair amount of harmony and,
simultaneously, the urge to enact more discipline in your life.
The month begins with four placements in Libra (the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and
Saturn). Hence, there will be an overriding desire for peace and balance.
Gentleness is afoot, along with a desire for beauty and harmony.
Because Saturn conjoins the other placements in Libra, you will become aware
of the limits in your relationships, but will also have the chance to see new
ways of navigating your interactions to experience less restriction.
During the first week of the month following Saturn’s conjunction with Venus
on September 29, you may feel somewhat limited socially. This is a time for
considering deeply what is really important to you in your relationships. You
can become aware of the ways you interact with others that, upon closer
inspection, are not well received and fail to produce the results you want to
create. It will be a time of noticing with more seriousness the nature of these
interactions. Awareness of current patterns, and the effects of those patterns,
can lead you to choose behaviors that produce better results and make you
happier. Money is also highlighted during these days. You can become
disciplined with finances in ways that might serve you in years to come.
From the 1st to the 11th, Mercury conjoins Saturn in Libra (exact on the
6th). During this period, your thoughts about relationships will become more
serious. You’ll become more aware of what is really important to you, and more
conscious of your verbal interactions with those to whom you are close. If
seeking a new partner, you will have the chance to get clear about the
qualities you want in another person and the kind of commitment that is
suitable to you at this point in your life. What works for someone who is in her
twenties may not work when she’s in her fifties. This is also an excellent time
for writing, as your thinking will be more serious and your insights deeper.
You will also have the discipline to complete thoughts and tasks.
The Sun conjoins
Saturn in Libra (from the 5th to the 22nd, exact on the 13th). During these
days, you may not be feeling as energetic as usual and a serious tone will
permeate the atmosphere. You’ll have a chance to slow down enough.
