November begins with both Venus and Mercury advancing into Sagittarius, a sign that moves great multitudes over great distances. Uranus adds spark and speed to the journey, especially in these first few days and again around the solar eclipse Nov 24. Expect the intensity and high volume to continue.
Several important stellar occurrences precede and follow the full moon in Taurus on Nov 10. Ceres in Pisces, correlating to a collective change of season, resumes direct motion on Nov 7. Ceres in trine to the sun and Mars in opposition to Neptune infuse great potency into the moment. Weather extremes are likely to continue. This Mars in Leo/Neptune in Aquarius aspect can be one for all and all for one, or, all for one, all for not. It can be creative, idealistic, and romantic, or it can be fragmenting. It stirs political climates, social waves and trends. The polarization between the social classes can reach a peak. What’s next for the Occupy movement? Did those who joined the revolution in the 1960’s know how iconic the times were?

Mars opposing Neptune is exposing, unleashing, unhinging, revealing, and targeting. It puts the famous, and/or scandalous in the news. Neptune, the planet of collective consciousness, is particularly potent as it will station direct on Nov 9, the day before the moon rises full.

The day after the full moon Nov 11, Chiron in Pisces resumes direct motion. Both Neptune and Chiron are outer planets and their directional shift can be subtle, but they are potent none-the-less. Certainly they will add an extra intensity. The full moon in Taurus puts the emphasis on finances and the economy, on what it is that we need in order to sustain and preserve ourselves. This full moon can be a critical time for addressing what is of true value and meaning, what lives, what carries on, what’s stuck, what’s undermining, and what must be reformed.

Mars advances into Virgo on Nov 10 to stay until July 3. This very long stay is due to the upcoming Mars retrograde cycle, late Jan to mid April. Mars will form several favourable aspects, namely to Jupiter (Nov 16) and Pluto (Nov 23) suggesting the potential for a productive move-it-forward, iron-out-the kinks cycle. One way or another Mars in Virgo will put all of us back to work.
The sun advances into Sagittarius on Nov 22, the day before Mercury turns retrograde and two days before the last solar eclipse of the year. This eclipse is also a super new moon, an astrological high tide. It will be particularly catapulting if your birthday falls on or around this date, or if the eclipse makes direct contact to your chart. The solar eclipse on Nov 24 coincides with the American Thanksgiving Holiday. Considering the climate of frustration for those unable to find work, etc. this USA holiday is likely to be harsh for many.
Mercury retrograde occurs Nov 23 to Dec 13. In the sign of Sagittarius, it can put a dent in the holidays. It creates havoc with schedules, plans, and transportation, especially airline travel. Put extra precautions in place. Stay flexible, shop early; try not to over do it, especially when it comes to the stress.

Nov 10 Full Moon: 12:36 pm (18:05 Taurus)
Nov 24: Partial Solar Eclipse (Super New Moon): 10:10 pm (2:37 Sagittarius)
