New moon in Scorpio

October's New Moon is on 10/26 at 3:56 PM (03°02' Scorpio). New beginnings in the Scorpionic qualities mentioned in the prior paragraph, as well as research, detective work, sexuality, and shared resources of all kinds, are timely now. You can also focus on stepping into your gifts as a healer and/or mentor, releasing everything that doesn't enhance your life, and courageously embracing your special qualities.

This is a time of endings and beginnings. It is one of the most important turning points we have seen with the New Moon Opposite Jupiter and Sextile Pluto. We are offered a chance to transform our basic ways and live continually from our higher consciousness. Venus and Mercury are applying to the Square of Mars. These are all personal planets and they are in fixed signs showing the depth of our emotional struggles. The big danger is that we will be pulled off course and become stubborn and petty. If we stay spiritually minded and intensely practical we can make rapid advancement in every aspect of life. This New Moon's Sabian Symbol is, “A youth holding a lighted candle in a devotional ritual gains a sense of the great 'other world'.” You can have a similar experience with this simple invocation: “Spirit, please grant me the maximum awareness of the nonphysical realms that serves the highest good, right now, thank you.” Then focus on your breathing, let divine grace take over, and feel what happens!

Relationships, sexuality and creativity are dynamically empowered around 10/26. Rich rewards could await you if you dive into the depths!

There's a lot of astrological action on 10/28! Most significantly, a Jupiter-Pluto trine in earth signs can empower financial opportunities for several weeks, and serve as an all-purpose energizer for whatever you focus on. In the shorter term, let your mind probe deep but avoid verbal confrontation, and find positive outlets (including physical ones) for all the vital energy currently available!

Halloween could offer tricks or treats: deception or illusion in relationships or financial matters, or empowerment of creative inspiration and divine connection. As always with astrology, the results depend on your intention and consciousness!
Every month on the day of the NEW MOON, the energy in the atmosphere opens to receive new seeds. For centuries, farmers have used the New Moon cycles for planting their crops. We can use the same potent energy for planting our dreams and goals. To use a New Moon POWER DAY, simply write down a maximum of ten wishes you would like to see manifest in your life.
Because this month’s New Moon occurs in the sign of SCORPIO, at this time you may want to include wishes concerning one or more of the following Scorpio-ruled categories on your list: transformation, power, strength, courage, integrity, awareness of the difference between taking the high road and taking the low road, debt, jealousy, revenge, and the willingness to discard the lower aspects of one’s emotional nature and rise above them through practicing forgiveness.
Sample wishes: “I want to easily find myself forgiving others in a way that is empowering and healing for me;” “I want the burden of debt easily lifted from me;” “I want to find myself easily choosing the high road that is best for me in every area of my life;” “I want to easily find myself filled with the courage to make those changes in my life that are in my overall best interests.”
Whatever your Sun Sign, this forecast will help you make the best use of each month’s astrological energies. Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after

Full Moon in Aries, October 11

This Full Moon in Aries occurs Tuesday, October 11 at 9:06pm EDT at 18 degrees. Full Moons represent the culmination of those things that were begun with the New Moon (in this case the September 27 New Moon in Libra). We are asked to let go of internal anger that has been building, and to do so in a responsible manner.
We see the resurgence of the wonderful trine between Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn in the sky which will be exact on 28 October. This will probably be of more help on an individual level though we may see renewed confidence in economic conditions around the globe over the next few weeks. One can only hope. By the way, the last trine between these two heavy weights takes place in March 2012.

Relationships and associations of all kind continue to be the main focus on this Full Moon. All the issues stirred up by the New Moon are up for review but now we need to make our decisions and move on one way or another. The Full Moon lights up the whole picture and we will be given the information we need for making the best choices. Won’t hurt to be kind and thoughtful during the process, just don’t procrastinate any longer. Best thing to remember is if we clear away what isn’t working (and probably hasn’t in a long time) we make room for something far better in our lives!
Not a bad Full Moon at all! The Uranus-Pluto square’s influence is on the way out for awhile, replaced by the more pleasant Jupiter-Pluto trine. We have some upbeat fire sign energy to counter Saturn’s sobriety and life looks a little brighter once more. Not bad at all . . .
When the Moon is full in Aries, the Sun is in the opposite sign of Libra.
Aries is a cardinal sign, making it about instigating, activating and launching the new. Aries is a fire sign, with an emphasis on being animated, high-spirited, enthusiastic and eager to act.
Full Moon in Aries: trusting your instincts; the passion of compassion; vigorous warrior energies; the animation that comes from meeting a challenge head-on; fresh starts; courageous actions; risking confrontation to be authentic; forceful self-expression; the purifying fire of unsentimental truth; taking a stand; being at the edge of new experience; personal charisma.
This Full Moon illuminates: the vital power of the individual -- think David and Goliath; your courage to act on the strength of your convictions; your willingness to go it alone, if necessary, to take a stand; the catharsis of being true to yourself; the rewards of going beyond your comfort zone; the thrill of acting on impulse; the exciting heat of friction between strong personalities; your impetuous side.
It's a Good Time to: celebrate individual freedom and your right to live free; nurture hope in new beginnings; be inspired by the urgency of the times; take action, even if you're full of fear; act on strong intuitive hunches; face a threat directly; allow buried passions to emerge and find expression; honor the messages that guide your unique destiny; act on true desires, not what you think you "should" do; take a bold step toward what you really, really want; do what makes you feel alive!
If all the trappings of life are gone, and security is a faded memory, we live more in the moment. We rely on our wits, instincts, belief in who we are. This Full Moon riles up your confidence that you can meet the moment, as an amazing adventure to discover the dimensions of who you really are.
The Aries-Libra polarity is a relationship axis, where Aries represents "self" and Libra represents "other". Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about compromise. The energy of the Libra Sun is the awareness of the need for relationships and all that comes with maintaining them--compromising, negotiating, graciousness, and balancing. The Aries Moon, on the other hand, is self-assertive, leading, and personally courageous. This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and tending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability.
The Libra Sun is diplomatic, equality-minded, and fair-minded. The Aries Moon, however, values authenticity over tact, and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict. Neglecting either end of the Aries-Libra axis will surely backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do. This Full Moon is about emotional declarations. Something has been building inside of us, likely of a personal nature, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this declaration means for us. For now, we can't sit on our feelings. We need to express them.

Sign of the month-Libra

Libra
September 23 – October 22
Element: Air
Modality: Cardinal
Ruler: Venus
House: 7th House

Libra transmits the energy of looking for harmony, for balanced relationships, appreciating and making beauty, counseling, deliberation prior to decision and upholding the Law.
Librans are known for their endless deliberation, indecision, and ability to listen equally to both sides. Librans make great counselors since they know how to listen attentively, they care about the person who is with them, and have good manners.

We also find many lawyers in this sign who likes to live with known and respected rules by both sides, that way they know what to expect, and what is expected from them.

They are indeed amiable, but they can have fists of anger, the road to harmony is filled with disharmony. They are very sensitive to beauty, and therefore, also to the lack of it.

Venus is the Ruler of Libra, feeling the sign with warmth, artificial talents, and charm, as well as the ability to attract. Libra is an air sign, therefore they surprise many people who expect them to be very attached and emotional, with a deliberating behavior, an ability to hold their own ground easily, and act completely without any emotion (but with feeling)

Libra is a cardinal sign, and therefore gets to make a lot of things happen. They can lead full lives, filled with many activities, they enjoy learning, social encounters, and being with other people.
Under the Libra rule we find marriage, or long term relationships. Since it is an air sign and a cardinal sign, this sign can and does keep people together because they are able to agree on a way of life, live in respect of each other and be there for one another in a supporting way. Love is expressed in its easy manner, the one that does not need drama, but rather the love that knows how to appreciate, respect, listen, and form real partnership.

October Planetary Forecast

In October, the atmosphere will be filled with a fair amount of harmony and, simultaneously, the urge to enact more discipline in your life.
The month begins with four placements in Libra (the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn). Hence, there will be an overriding desire for peace and balance. Gentleness is afoot, along with a desire for beauty and harmony.
Because Saturn conjoins the other placements in Libra, you will become aware of the limits in your relationships, but will also have the chance to see new ways of navigating your interactions to experience less restriction.
During the first week of the month following Saturn’s conjunction with Venus on September 29, you may feel somewhat limited socially. This is a time for considering deeply what is really important to you in your relationships. You can become aware of the ways you interact with others that, upon closer inspection, are not well received and fail to produce the results you want to create. It will be a time of noticing with more seriousness the nature of these interactions. Awareness of current patterns, and the effects of those patterns, can lead you to choose behaviors that produce better results and make you happier. Money is also highlighted during these days. You can become disciplined with finances in ways that might serve you in years to come.
From the 1st to the 11th, Mercury conjoins Saturn in Libra (exact on the 6th). During this period, your thoughts about relationships will become more serious. You’ll become more aware of what is really important to you, and more conscious of your verbal interactions with those to whom you are close. If seeking a new partner, you will have the chance to get clear about the qualities you want in another person and the kind of commitment that is suitable to you at this point in your life. What works for someone who is in her twenties may not work when she’s in her fifties. This is also an excellent time for writing, as your thinking will be more serious and your insights deeper. You will also have the discipline to complete thoughts and tasks.
The Sun conjoins Saturn in Libra (from the 5th to the 22nd, exact on the 13th). During these days, you may not be feeling as energetic as usual and a serious tone will permeate the atmosphere. You’ll have a chance to slow down enough.
